Jean LaMantia, RD

Jean LaMantia is a registered dietitian, author and speaker. She has published three books including The Complete Lymphedema Management and Nutrition Guide. She has presented at the National Lymphedema Network (US) conference and the Canadian Lymphedema Framework as well as other lymphedema organizations. She is the creator of Lymphedema Nutrition School that helps people with lymphedema to learn about nutrition and improve their condition.

  • What are complementary therapies?

    Complementary therapies are treatments that complement the standard of care for lymphedema. In other words other strategies that you can use besides compression, manual lymphatic drainage, skin care, exercise and nutrition.

  • How long do I get access?

    You will have 90 days (3 months) access to the program once you begin.

  • Are there complementary therapies that I should be doing?

    There very well may be complementary therapies that you can add to your current treatment plan. You should discuss this with your certified lymphedema therapist and get input on which one(s) you should try.

  • What currency is the tuition?

    I am located in Canada, so the tuition is in Canadian dollars. When you pay with your credit card, the exchange rate will be applied. If you are in the US, then the tuition is approximately $58 USD.

  • What is included in the program?

    You have access to about 3 hours of pre-recorded modules on the topic of Complementary Therapies for Lymphedema. You will also get a full reference list with hyperlinks to all the research cited.

  • Will there be other presentations on the topic of complementary therapies?

    Yes! I will be inviting expert guest speakers to present. on their speciality complementary therapy. Speakers include experts in lymphatic taping, pumps, reflexology, yoga and more!
